The following window provides the study’s visual table of contents on the Milanote web app, starting with research themes and ending with research outcomes. The expanded digital and interactive Milanote pages offer storing, linking, and visual organization capacity of research data. These factors help further observe the connections and consistency of Persianate gardens in Greater Iran, India, and Central Asia. The study uses visual-centered methods to create multimodal datasets that encompass both architectural and pictorial sources related to Persianate gardens. Utilizing methods such as cognitive mapping, content analysis, and comparative assessment, the study examines visual diagrams derived from UNESCO’s separate dataset on Timurid, Safavid, and Mughal gardens. Simultaneously, it applies a new set of commonly shared architectural concepts to demonstrate the interconnection and coherency among the Persianate garden designs.
